I am very pleased to announce that we have signed an agreement with CILIP to provide specific Data Protection & Information Governance related training courses for their members.

Our first session will be in October which will be a workshop on ‘Doing the right thing with user data’.

Through this half-day practical workshop delegates will be reminded of the data protection principles as we explore what they mean in practical terms for those working in the information, library, knowledge and data sectors. The course will explore practical scenarios around the use of user data as well as common challenges.

Delegates will come away with a good understanding of what the ‘right thing’ means for user data and how to apply this in their day-to-day roles.

To register please head to the CILIP website.
