Microsoft have recently launched a new feature with its Co-Pilot AI software called “Microsoft Recall”. Recall will constantly take can search through all users’ past activity including files, photos, emails and browsing history. Beware, Beware, Ransomware!

That is an interesting approach and one that I think I agree with. When GDPR came in there was a lot of noise and guidance around many thing, including Cyber Security. So to not have effective controls in place from the 25th May 2018, or to not have a risk management strategy in place for where controls can’t be put in place, does make it a fair point to raise (in my opinion).

So it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything (again) as the day job (and indeed one of the ‘other’ job’s) has been taking up a large chunk of my time.
